Underrated Crime Books!
.
So today I wanted to highlight two crime series which I think are highly underrated! By that I mean that you donβt often seen them on here.
.
The first one is the Hawthorne series by Anthony Horowitz. Now what I love about this series is that Horowitz has used a fictionalised version of himself as the main character! In the two books Horowitz works along side a private investigator called Hawthorne, with each book focusing on a different murder!
.
The second series is The Lewis Trilogy by Peter May. In this series we follow Fin Macleod, a police inspector in Edinburgh, as he returns to his place of birth, The Isle of Lewis. All three books feature flashbacks to the past for certain characters, with these flashbacks being linked to current day events, although itβs not always clear how they will link!
.
Have you read either of these? Is there a series of crime books that you think are underrated?
